A multi-department team of UFF leaders in the College of Engineering, headed by John Schueller (Mechanical & Aerospace), has been reaching out to colleagues who have not yet joined the UFF. This systematic, sustained, and personal approach – with individual conversations as well as formal presentations at departmental meetings – is producing results. Since Spring 2011 when the UFF Engineering organizing team launched, membership in the College has grown in every department. Non-tenure track engineering faculty are active in the new NTT Caucus as well.
